ASME 1st General Body Meeting!

Welcome to Duke ASME (American Society for Mechanical Engineers)!! For those of you who don't know, ASME is the only pre-professional Mechanical Engineering club at Duke, and our mission is to unite the ME department at Duke, expose students to more hands-on opportunities, and foster professional connections for students interested in going into industry. We hold multiple events throughout the year. These include hosting speakers from companies like GE, holding design challenges, and organizing book-bagging events for students with questions about classes. This year, ASME will be holding monthly General Body Meetings (GBM's). The purpose of these is to give a chance for members to meet one another and discuss the goals of the current/upcoming design challenges, among other things. These meetings will include mini design projects, resume collections which will be sent out to companies, and occasional speakers. The first meeting is coming up soon, and we would love for you to attend and check us out more!
